The Center for Ethics and Responsible Research will help advance our knowledge of how to ensure ethical and responsible research at a STEM-focused institution. New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) will serve as a test bed for tools and methods developed by the National Ethics Project (NEP). Through its partnership with the NEP, NJIT will attempt to transform its approach to Ethical and Responsible Research (ER2) from its current state, which lacks unity and a high profile on campus, to a model for other institutions to emulate.
