Project Narrative.
Perinatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury is one of the major causes of permanent neurological deficit in
children. Our proposal offers novel mechanistic understanding of mitochondrial dysfunction and mitochondria-
driven oxidative stress following perinatal hypoxic-ischemic insult.
