Description

This EIPM-CS Coordination proposal includes an IPM coordination project and projects in two emphasis areas: IPM in High Value/High Input or Intensely Managed Crops and IPM Support for Pest Diagnostic Facilities. The coordination project's goals are to increase IPM awareness and adoption in NJ, to conduct annual advisory meetings with stakeholders, represent NJ on state and regional committees, respond to IPM-related inquires, and coordinate and report on state/institutional activities. The goals of the three IPM in High Value/High Input or Intensely Managed Crops emphasis area projects are to deliver an IPM program to commercial blueberry, peach and apple growers. The goals of the IPM Support for Pest Diagnostic Facilities project are to protect agricultural by providing diagnostic services regarding invasive insect and disease threats and maintain a NJ presence, providing diagnostic services to NJ stakeholders.
