Abstract

A new electron Bernstein wave emission diagnostic consisting of a radiometer and a reflectometer was studied. The mode-conversion efficiency was calculated by using a one-dimensional full-wave code. The mode-conversion efficiency was found to be 0.5-0.8, leading to electron temperature (Te) of 200 eV.
