N2 - Two pairs of figures (Figs. 2 and 3; 4 and 5 in original paper) have been interchanged in the final version of the paper. Therefore, captions of these figures and their references do not correspond to the plots. The illustration in Fig. 2 corresponds to the caption, references, and figure number of Fig. 3 and vice versa. Likewise, the illustration for Fig. 4 corresponds to the caption, references, and figure number of Fig. 5 and vice versa. See the accepted version of the paper for the right figures. The dispersion relation for the Weibel instability [Eq. (18) in the original paper1] is missing a factor of 2. The corrected dispersion relation is (Figure Presented). This change leads to a significantly better agreement between the simulation results and the linear theory with respect to the previous case (see Figs. 1 here and 3 in the original paper).
