Abstract
EUS-guided pancreatic drainage (EUS-PD) arose as a minimally invasive alternative to surgery or percutaneous drainage in altered anatomy (previous Whipple surgery) or simply the failure of conventional ERCP approach [1-4]. The procedure is divided into two main techniques: EUS-guided rendezvous (EUS-RV) and pancreatic transmural stenting (EUS-PTS); in this chapter, we will focus on the first.
