Abstract

In this issue of Structure, Shaw et al. (2008) report a crystal structure of the Escherichia coli RapA protein, the only bacterial member of the SWI/SNF2 family (Lewis et al., 1992; Bork and Koonin, 1993). The structure reported is also the first structure of any full-sized SWI/SNF2 family protein.
