abstract = "The strength degradation of lightguide fibers has been studied over a range of elevated temperatures and at room temperature. Using these data we show that accelerated testing can be used to predict ambient temperature behavior. An activation energy of approximately 90 kJ.mol -1 describes the shift in corresponding times.",
