Abstract

For decades, a rise of attention has been directed at Applications of Augmented Reality (AR); computer-generated content which overlays on real sights in real-time. With the aim to produce a single, enhanced reality, Augmented Reality tracks users' movements and change of the view in order to fulfil its purpose. Interesting features like these can be utilized in a variety of fields, including Education, Art and Design, and Architecture to help deepen an understanding of abstract concepts. This paper presents an overview of Augmented Reality technology and explicitly describes its recent application in learning. Furthermore, several limitations of the use of Augmented Reality technology from previous research was explored in two perspectives: technology issues and learning issues. Finally, according to each limitation of the use of Augmented Reality technology, several solutions were proposed for development or future improvement.
