Abstract
We study the general inhomogeneous two-dimensional jellium where the background density varies in one space direction only. At GAMMA equals 2, explicit functional representations of the one- and two-body densities of the particles are derived in terms of the electrostatic potential created by the background. The present model can be used for describing a large variety of charged interfaces.
