Ultrafast pump-probe reflectance study of multiferroic Eu 0.75y0.25MnO3

Abstract

We measured the pump-probe reflectance relaxation time in multiferroic Eu0.75Y0.25MnO3. The relaxation time can be tuned by magnetic field and follows the temperature dependence of the low-energy spectral weight that includes phonons and electro-active magnons.
